Guidelines for Parents
1. Read the contents of the Almanac carefully and abide by the rules laid down by school
authorities.
2. Parents /Guardian are advised not to allow their wards to come to school by bikes or scooters without a driving licence and helmet. School will not be held responsible for damage or loss caused due to the driving of immature students. Students should strictly follow the norms of RTO.
3. Parents are not supposed to enter the classroom in any circumstances to meet the teachers during the school without prior intimation or permission of the concerned authority.
4. Parents should ensure that their wards prepare the lessons well and do their homework regularly.
5. Parents must inform the concerned class teacher in writing for any case of absenteeism of their awards. They should avoid taking their ward back from school during school hours on silly grounds.
6. Parents are advised to visit class teacher of their ward and subject teachers periodically to keep track of their attendance and performance.
7. Ensure that your ward carries text books/exercise books according to the time-table.
8. Regularly check the teacher's remarks in your ward's diary class work/ homework exercise books.
9. You are requested not to send sick children to school, under any circumstances, especially if the illness is contagious.
10. Please ensure that your ward does not bring any valuable article to school. The school is not liable to pay or compensate for any loss.
11. Any change of residential/office address and telephone numbers must be communicated immediately to the school office in writing in the proper format.
12. Depending upon the needs of weak students, the school may organize remedial classes beyond the school hours. The parents’ cooperation will be appreciated.
13. Parents- teacher meeting will be held every second Saturday in order to provide feedback about the students' performance. Parents must avoid sending relatives to attend the meetings. They must attend the meetings to enquire about the progress of their award.
14. Parents are expected to avoid using foul language against the school system and teachers.
15. Students who come to school under the care of attendants should not leave the school before the attendants arrive. In case of delay they should report to the school office.
16. Students must not call friends or relatives inside the school premises. Only parents are allowed to deal with matters related to students.
17. Important messages are communicated well in advance through students or through remarks of class teachers in the diary or through SMS. Students will be responsible for any misinterpretation of any rule of keeping the parents in the dark about the remarks given by the authority of the school.
18. Students will not be permitted to leave the classroom after every period for using washrooms. Students with some medical problems will be allowed after showing medical proof to the school.
19. Any notice, instruction or circular sent in the school diary should be acknowledged by the parents by fixing their signature.
20. Parents must read the content of the school diary to get familiar with the school system.
21. Taking leave during working days is strongly discouraged. Parents are responsible to make up for the loss of studies in case of leave taken. The school will expect these students to be at par with the class in every way and that will have to be ensured by the parents.
22. Parents to ensure that their wards attend school in neat and well ironed, complete uniform. Boys with short and decent hair cut (not in fashionable or military cut) and girls with two plaits or single pony( in case of very short hair) as the case may be. In case of non-compliance, the school reserves the right to take any kind of disciplinary action.
23. Electronic gadgets (mobiles, i-pods, play-stations, audio / video players, cameras etc) are not permitted inside the school premises as per CBSE school rules. If found, the articles will be confiscated for at least a fortnight. If such instances are repeated, then the child will be asked to leave the school.
24. Possession and consumption of alcohol, cigarette, tobacco products and any other form of intoxicating / illegal substance is strictly prohibited and will invite expulsion from school with immediate effect.
